We had our second fundraiser of the year on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at Candy Bar in San Francisco. A special thank you goes out to Trang Nguyen, Carolyn Chang and Quinn Wong for organizing this fun event. We were able to raise $1,370. A big thanks to everyone that came out to support us!

The first phase of the school building at the Nakote village is complete! Once the monsoon season is over construction on phase two of the school building will start.

It was in bad shape so the villagers decided to use the village monestery as a temporary school. The pictures was taken by Wayne on his first visit to Nakote Village and used for postcards. Kids showed their gratitude by drawing and writing on the postcards to our donors. The postcards were sent from Nepal throughout the world.
