NEIO Wine Tasting Fundraiser – Summer 2009

We had our first fundraiser of the year this past Saturday July 18, 2009 at Banana House in San Francisco.
The event was a wine tasting comparing wines from Italy and California. We started off with a Chardonnay pair; an Italian from Umbria and a Californinan the from Santa Ynes Valley.The next pair in the line up was a Chianti from Tuscany, and a Cabernet from Napa. To round off the tasting we had a Moscate from Piedmont in Italy, and a Muscat from Sonoma County in California.
The event was a big success and we were able to raise $1,600.
